Don't Be a Wooden Axe / by Alexander Lyadov

No matter how much you desire, you cannot help someone who is not ready.

This is crucial to remember when providing services to clients.

Otherwise, all your expertise turns into a wooden axe.

It may look real, but it won't chop any firewood.

You'll only waste your time, exhausting yourself and the client.

Your professionalism doesn't exist in isolation.

Lungs are meaningless without air, and a doctor without a patient.

Only through interaction can the potential of what can be truly revealed.

No bee will seek flower pollen before the start of the season.

Yet some salespeople prematurely pluck the client's request from the branch.

It's unproductive, speaks of desperation, and borders on violence.

It is better to respectfully leave customers to themselves.

Let the process of their request maturation take months or years.

Then one touch from you will solve their most tangled problem.

But first, you need to calm your fear that clients won't come. How?

Firstly, increase your understanding of your ideal client.

Secondly, highlight the services in which you are truly strong.

Lastly, share food for thought with your future clients.

Yours sincerely,

-Alexander
