Manage your energy, not your time.
I came across this idea about 10 years ago, and since then, I can't forget it.
Energy is vitality, health, clarity of thinking, and so on.
If your work is routine, then a cold or lack of sleep is not scary.
But it's different when your decisions are in the super-reward, super-risk zone.
With 80% of your attention, you won't win the Dakar rally or sell your business.
And what about time? It's a secondary factor, and there's no point in counting it.
When you're exhausted, a trivial task can stretch into a whole day.
But when you're at your peak, all problems seem to solve themselves.
So, on a scale of 1 to 10, what is your energy level right now?
